Beginners Tutorial Series
This video tutorial goes in-depth to help explain the full capabilities of the Absynth LFOs that are notoriously flexible and powerful for sound design.
In this tutorials we are exploring Absynth as an FX unit. There are many uses of Absynth as a classic effect unit and there are some great FX presets in Absynth factory library you should explore. Instead will look into more specific features of Absynth FX such as using it for envelope following, complex gate sequencing, stereo effects, transition effects and also how to trigger envelopes in Absynth with external audio.
Absynth offers three independent low frequency oscillators. These are no ordinary LFO’s since they offer some very unique features such as S&H mode and also like with audio oscillators in Absynth you can choose from various waveforms, you can edit and draw these waveforms, morph them in real time and also cross-modulate LFO’s between each other.
This time we will look into audio processing modules of Absynth. First we will look into filters and wave-shapers and then also in few special audio modulation processors such as ring-mod and frequency shifter effect.
Envelopes are the heart of the Absynth synthesizer. They offer very flexible and unique way of controlling the synth.
Envelopes in Absynth are a bit different from those found in most synthesizers which is one of the main reasons why Absynth is such a great synthesizer.
We will look into some quite advanced features but be aware that these are only like additional possibilities and it’s possible to use Absynth envelopes in a very straightforward way. This tutorial will teach you how to do that and much more.
In this tutorial we will look into Absynth powerful oscillators. In Absynth these are not only standard oscillators but they are advanced audio generators with wide variety of different synthesis and modulation techniques. In combination with advanced modulation capabilities of Absynth they offer some truly amazing sound design possibilities which cannot be found in any other synth.
